This policy explains how nameless ai LLC (“nameless ai”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit nameless.ai, write to us, or do business with us. nameless ai LLC is the controller of that information.
Some of our products and services have their own privacy notices; where they do, that notice applies to that product.
what we collect
Information you send us. If you email us or do business with us, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, email address, company, role and the content of your message.
Technical information. No website can be delivered without your device’s IP address. When you visit, our hosting provider processes basic request data (your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our hosting provider also shows us overall traffic figures, such as the number of visits and the countries they come from. We don’t use any of this information to identify you, build a profile of you, or follow you across other websites.
What we don’t collect. This website sets no cookies and uses no similar technologies, such as local storage, pixels or fingerprinting. It has no third-party analytics or advertising, and every file on it is served from nameless.ai itself, so your browser contacts no other website when you load it. If our hosting provider ever needs to check that a visitor is not an automated attack, it may set a strictly necessary security cookie for that purpose alone.
We don’t ask for sensitive personal information, and we ask that you not send it to us.
how we use it
We use personal information only to:
- reply to you and carry out any business we do together;
- deliver, maintain and secure this website, including detecting and preventing abuse;
- comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, and establish, exercise or defend legal claims; and
- protect the rights, property and safety of nameless ai and others.
We don’t use personal information for advertising, and we don’t make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
legal bases (eea, uk and switzerland)
Where European or UK data protection law applies, we rely on: our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business and replying to messages, which we balance against your rights; steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, or performing one; compliance with our legal obligations; and your consent where we ask for it, which you can withdraw at any time.
who we disclose it to
We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising. We disclose it only:
- to service providers that host this website, deliver our email or otherwise support our business, who may use it only on our instructions and must protect it;
- when the law requires it, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is needed to protect rights, property or safety, or to investigate fraud or abuse;
- to a buyer, successor or their advisers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of all or part of our business, who must continue to protect it as this policy describes; and
- with your consent or at your direction.
international transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in other countries. When personal information from the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland is transferred to a country without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and their UK and Swiss equivalents.
how long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and then delete or anonymize it. Request data processed by our hosting provider is kept only briefly, for security and operations. Correspondence is kept as long as needed to deal with your message and any follow-up.
security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and limiting access to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and the authorities where the law requires.
your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- receive it in a portable format;
- object to or restrict how we use it;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising and profiling (we do none of these); and
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything done before.
To make a request, email contact@nameless.ai. We will respond within the time the law requires and may first need to confirm your identity. Where the law allows, an authorized agent can make a request for you; we may ask for proof that they act on your behalf. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we will tell you the outcome of the appeal in writing. If we deny your appeal, you can contact your state attorney general. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
california
In the past 12 months we have collected identifiers (such as IP and email addresses), internet activity (the request data described above) and any professional information you chose to send us. It came from you and your device, and we used it for the purposes described in this policy. We disclosed these categories only as described under “who we disclose it to”. We have not sold or shared personal information, or used or disclosed sensitive personal information, in that time.
global privacy control and do not track
Because we don’t track you, there is nothing on this website for Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control to switch off. We still treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a valid opt-out request wherever the law requires.
children
This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
other websites
Links to other websites, such as our LinkedIn page, are governed by those websites’ own privacy policies, not this one.
changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and change the date at the top, and if a change is material we will say so on this page. Changes apply from the date shown.
